What the Experts say II
In this post I am going to recommend two
sources: 1 article from an academic journal and the other one is a small part
from a book. I decided to go for both because they complement each other.
The journal article does not talk about art, but it explains negative effects of digital technology on people, especially children. This is important to understand another topic that concerns phycological effects artist can have due to social media pressure. At the end of the day, they are also humans.
The second one is a small abstract of a book
called “The art therapist’s guide to social media”, in which describes the
impact social networking has on the profession of art therapist, practitioners
and artists. It also explores benefits and challenges media can create for the field.
