New Media and Art Industry

Hello and welcome to my blog! (੭ˊᵕˋ)੭ In this first post I am going to explain a little bit more about why did I choose this topic.

I decided to talk about this because in my free time I'm an illustrator and I do art commissions for friends sometimes, so as a member of the art industry, I perceived a lot of issues in the aforementioned sector that had to do with media and most of them are not acknowledged by the society. 

My aim is to give exposure to this unregulated community and to the problems internet has caused (monetary afecting artist, as well as mentally), as most of the people think media has only contributed positively. Some of you might relate to some of the problems discussed here, and some of you might just be curious about this niched blog. Either reason, I hope you find interesting my topic.
